In partnership with The Kansas City Rose Society, The Writers Place invites you to enjoy literary readings in the Rose Garden. On Saturday, September 23rd from 2:30 to 3:30 pm, three poets and a blogger will read for this free and most pleasant event. Readings take place in the North Pavilion of the Loose Park Rose Garden, or, in case of inclement weather, the Garden Center's Sarajane S. Aber Rose Room.
This is an international event, and over 100,000 poets will be reading all over the world on the same day, many at the same time. The Writers Place is one of the designated sites for this event. Please come and bring your poems, and help us keep the reading going.

Each week campers will focus on a different genre of creative writing, and at the end of camp we’ll celebrate with a reading for family and friends.
